We had no plans for NYE. We didn't even think about it.
Until around noon when sweet DH said "Hey, let's make ribs....and invite some people". Needless to say, we rushed around to the store, cleaned a bit of the house, yelled at whichever neighbor was driving by and started the fun!
Did I mention we have a great street? There are 25 kids on our cul-de-sac and always someone for the kids to play with or parents to chat with. Due to that, it was easy to grab a few friends and start the fun!
Food, friends and fun. And no one had to drive home!
